Job description
Affiliated Home Care Aides provide non-medical Home Care Services that are intended to assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). These services include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring the client’s behavior, appetite, bowel movement and sleeping times, as well as reporting any concerns or changes in the condition of the client to Silver Peaks management.
- Bathing & showering assistance
- Grooming & dressing assistance
- Oral care
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Feeding assistance
- Meal planning and preparation
- Transferring assistance
- Ambulation assistance
- Positioning in bed or wheelchair
- Exercise assistance
- Light housekeeping
- Safety supervision
- Fall prevention
- Medication reminders
- Assisting with medications
- Laundry of client's clothing and bedding
- Transportation
- Escort to physician visits
- Running errand
- Correspondence
